Design Services

The Design group provides design and engineering services to meet the needs of Georgia Southern University. Planning and design services for new facilities and for the repair, renovation, and alteration of existing facilities are provided. Full functional and code compliant facilities are evaluated and taken into consideration per the latest university design standards.

Facilities Inventory

The Facilities Inventory staff uses a module within Banner that is used to record information about Georgia Southern University buildings, the area within those buildings, and the functions of the space. The maintenance of this information is important to Georgia Southern and the University System of Georgia as a whole to allow for the effective management of all physical facilities.

Interior Design 

The Interior Design team maps out and executes the interior decoration of a room or building specifically to the users’ needs. From the paint on the walls to the desks and chairs, the Interior Design team works with the user, project manager, and architects to create an appealing, efficient space that is inviting and inspiring.
