If You are the Victim of Sexual Assault

  1. If you are in need of medical attention, CALL 911.
  2. DO NOT bathe, shower or change clothes.
  3. To report the incident you may call 911 or the Office of Public Safety directly, or come to the Office of Public Safety.

Reporting a Crime

There are a number of ways for the campus community and visitors to report crimes, serious incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and other emergencies. Regardless of how you decide to report these incidents, it is critical for the safety of the entire community that you immediately report them to the Office of Public Safety.  Your reporting will enable an effective investigation and/or appropriate follow-up actions and security measures to protect the campus community.

Using Eagle Eye Witness

If you witness a crime or become the victim of a crime, you may file a voluntary, confidential report. Confidential and anonymous reports can be made by phone or online using Eagle Eye Witness. In limited circumstances, the Department may not be able to assure confidentiality and will inform you in those cases.

Reports allow the University to compile a record of the number and types of incidents occurring on campus, which are counted and disclosed in the Annual Security Report.
